CAMPAIGN EXECUTIVE (Miami)

Description and Requirements: Candidates for this position are preferred to have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working for a non-profit fundraising organization. This individual will be directly involved in one-on-one solicitations, providing professional leadership for lay boards and committees, identifying and developing major gift prospects, and coordinating parlor meetings and special fund-raising events for the National Campaign. This person will also work on all major dinners and special events under the supervision of the Regional Director.  The position requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and database).

Israel Advocacy and Education Coordinator (West Coast)

Candidates for this position are preferred to have a minimum of 1 year’s experience working with a non-profit fundraising organization and experience working with the campus and high school communities.

This individual will work directly with on-campus organizations and students throughout the country, as well as working with schools, JCCs and major youth movements. Duties will include coordinating campus and high school events through the Caravan for Democracy program and developing student leadership.

In addition, this individual will represent the IA&E department and all its programs on the west coast. Responsibilities include promoting programs for students in kindergarten through 12th grade and the larger Jewish community developed to meet the needs of our various target populations.

Travel is required throughout the western United States and staffing of missions to Israel, including, but not limited to, Taglit-Birthright Israel trips and JNF’s Alternative Spring Break to Israel. The position requires exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, as well as excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and database).

Candidates for this position are preferred to have a minimum three years’ experience working for a non-profit fundraising organization. All candidates must be entrepreneurial; goal oriented and able to work independently. Knowledge of the Detroit Jewish community is helpful, but not required.

This individual will be directly involved in one-on-one solicitations, providing professional leadership for the Board of Directors and committees, identify and develop major gift prospects, and coordinate parlor meetings and special fund-raising events for the National Campaign. This person will also work on all major dinners and special events under the supervision of the Michigan Region Israel Representative. National

ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER
(Manhattan, New York)

Candidates for this position are preferred to have experience working for a non-profit organization. This individual should be web savvy and have excellent writing skills. Duties include: day-to-day management of marketing for JNF regional offices, including: production of ads, invitations, brochures and media placement; working closely with graphic designer to develop printed materials, and working closely with printers to obtain estimates and timelines; coordinating regional materials for print and online newsletters; development of creative marketing work in support of National departments and Regional initiatives, including: Green Sunday, Education, and written content and strategy for JNF website (in coordination with Interactive Marketing Associates). This person will also assist the Director and Executive Director with projects as needed.

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
(Manhattan, New York)

Candidates for this position are preferred to have a minimum of 8 -10 years’ experience working for a non-profit organization or in marketing. Duties include: supervising three Marketing Managers; supervising two Interactive Marketing Managers by serving as first contact for web work assignments; providing marketing support for National media planning and placement, National direct mail program and Major donor proposals; full project management on various National initiatives; providing general editorial assistance to Marketing department; and assisting the Executive Director with projects as needed.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (ISRAEL ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION)
(Manhattan, New York)

Applicants must have excellent administrative skills, including accurate typing and data entry. Excellent computer skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, and database) and basic math/accounting skills are a must. Candidates must possess superb interpersonal skills and a mature, personable telephone manner. Excellent organizational skills are also required.

Duties include handling and drafting original correspondence, answering telephones, setting up conference calls, filing, accounting and billing functions, coordinating travel arrangements, editing and proofreading, and assisting in the coordination of department events.
