Michelle Jackson grew up in a suburb of Los Angeles, CA and graduated with a major in Political Science from Pepperdine University in Malibu. Michelle works as a Commercial Insurance Broker for Marsh & McLennan in their Downtown LA office. Growing up, Michelle knew about her Jewish roots from one side of my family, but did not have a traditional Jewish upbringing. Close friends provided a forum for holidays and traditions to be learned. In 2007 Michelle went on Birthright. When she came home from that experience she decided to become involved in the Jewish community and deepen her connection to Israel and her Jewish family roots. Soon thereafter she was introduced to JNF.
