Jonathan Adiri
Policy Analyst, Director of US Office for the Reut Institute
Lieutenant (res.) Jonathan Adiri, 25, is a graduate (magna-cum-laude) of the Tel Aviv University honors masters program of Law, Politics and Society.
Between 2004-2005, Jonathan served as a Research Fellow at the International Policy Institute For Counter-Terrorism in Israel. There, he published a research paper titled "Counter Terror: The Judicial Front," examining the Israeli High Court of Justice's role in the country's counter-terror efforts.
From 2000 and 2004, Jonathan served as a lieutenant in the IDF Foreign Relations Division, holding delicate the position of Chief Liaison Officer to the Red Cross delegation in Israel.
He was later promoted to serve as a division operations officer. In this capacity, Jonathan commanded a crisis-management team coordinating the work of different international forces in areas of war (peace keeping operations, Arab armies etc.)
Jonathan played a key role in the implementation of the Israeli - Hezbollah prisoner exchange for which he was awarded an honorary officer of the year (2004-2005) commendation.
In 1999, Jonathan was the first Israeli graduate of the United States Presidential Classroom and is a graduate of the Hebrew Gymnasia High School in Tel Aviv.
Jonathan is currently head of the US office of the Reut Insititute, a strategic policy consulting firm.
