"Israeli piano prodigy" (Jerusalem Post), "a favorite of audiences" (David Dubal), a performer with “hypnotic appeal” (Vesti) and "explosive intensity" (Joseph Kalichstein), a musician "who reveals the very soul of the art" (John O'Conor), the Russian-born Israeli pianist, Victor Goldberg, continues to fascinate a wide range of audiences around the globe. A winner of the Artist Recognition Award at the 2000 International Keyboard Festival in New York and Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition in Kiev, Ukraine, his latest appearances include venues such as Alice Tully Hall -- Lincoln Center, Steinway Hall, and Bargemusic in New York, Strathmore and Smithsonian in Washington, DC, the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada, as well as various international festivals in Europe and the United States, such as Aspen, Norfolk and Sarasota Music Festivals and International Piano Festivals (Spain/Canary Islands/France). His performances can often be heard on the classical music station of The New York Times-WQXR. Mr. Goldberg holds degrees from the Tel Aviv University, The Juilliard School in New York, the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, and the Manhattan School of Music, where he was the first pianist to ever be awarded the prestigious Artist Diploma in Performance.
