The breadth of JNF’s action areas includes planting 250 million trees; building over 1,000 parks and recreational areas and making them inclusive to all; building Aleh Negev, the state-of-the-art village for children and young adults with severe physical and cognitive disabilities; constructing security roads; creating new communities so that Jews from around the world have a place to call home; bringing green to the desert; and building over 220 reservoirs, dams, and water recycling centers, increasing Israel’s water supply by 10%. Today, JNF is supporting Israel’s newest generation of pioneers by bringing life to the Negev Desert, Israel’s last frontier.
