YU QUEST Students Support the Community of Chalutza!

regbuttons QUEST is a two semester commitment focusing on acquiring and developing the skills necessary to be a leader. The first semester students focus on skills and theories essential to being a leader. The second semester, is when students put the skills they learned to the test. QUEST Fellows have been challenged to each raise $1,100 for JNF’s new southern community of Chalutza. After the students reach their personal fundraising goals they will travel together on a mission to do community service in the Negev region. The students will see exactly where the funds they raised are going, and the people the funds are helping. Being able to help build a community like this and really help the Jewish People is a most unique opportunity.

About JNF and QUEST:

QUEST is run by the Center for the Jewish Future (CJF) an agency of Yeshiva University. The CJF and JNF have teamed up to help the community of Chalutza while educating our students. Not only will the students help in different communities in Israel, but this group of students, the next generation of Jewish leaders will begin taking leadership roles. The experience is teaching QUEST Fellows how to coordinate, manage, organize and run events, fundraisers and programs.

Through this partnership the QUEST Fellows will travel to Israel on JNF’s Alternative Break to Israel to help build the community of Chalutza and to work in other communities in the Negev region.
