| Tu B’Shevat Across America (TBSAA) provides special opportunities to conduct meaningful and exciting observances of Tu B’Shevat and celebrate our commitment to the land of Israel. At the Jewish National Fund we proudly think of Tu B’Shevat, the new year of the trees, as “our holiday” as it embodies our dedication to the environment of Israel. The Israel Advocacy and Education Department of JNF coordinates this special Tu B’Shevat effort in keeping with our mission to engage, educate and energize the Jewish community of the United States to a deeper commitment to the land and people of Israel. | ||||
Our partners at Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael(KKL) have put together some information on Tu B'Shevat that you might find useful. It includes information on Tu B'Shevat and the Jewish Tradition, the significance of the Tu B'Shevat Seder, and in case you’ll be in Israel, a list of all the special events taking place for Tu B'Shevat at KKL-JNF sites. Click here to check it out http://www.kkl.org.il/kkl/english/main_subject/tu_bishvat_trees/ |
