“What Israel Means to Me Today”
Deadline for entry: April 9, 2010

In celebration of Yom Ha’atzmaut – Israel Independence Day – on April 19th, we’re inviting you to showcase your talent by creating a video in honor of Israel’s birthday. Judges will look for at least one of the following criteria to be incorporated into the video –

1. Your personal connection to Israel
2. The celebration of Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s 62nd Anniversary
3. Jewish National Fund’s work on behalf of Israel

CONTEST RULES:

Each participant or group may submit up to two entries. All submissions must be received by 11:59pm, April 9, 2010. Entries submitted after the deadline are not eligible. All submissions must be original work. All videos must be no longer than 90 seconds and must mention Israel, JNF, or Yom Ha'atzmaut.

HOW TO ENTER:

Beginning at March 5th:

1. Upload your video to your personal YouTube page.
2. Go to http://www.youtube.com/jnfcontest
3. Click on "Submit A Video" in the upper right hand part of the screen.
4. Type in the URL of you video and a short description. Click "Post."

PRIZES

First Prize: An all expense paid trip to JNF's National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on October 10th including round trip airfare for winner from the winner’s local airport plus meals for one day, and hotel accommodations for one night. Hotel to be selected by JNF. Winner will have the chance to introduce his/her video to more than 500 attendees at the Conference. Second Prize: A falafel party for you and 25 of your friends / classmates. Third, Fourth, and Fifth Prize: A JNF Surprise Package. The prizes from this contest are non-transferable and non-negotiable and are for winner’s use only. No cash substitute for any prize. The grand prize will be awarded to one person, not a group.

ELIGIBILITY:

THE JNF VIDEO CONTEST is open only to legal residents of the United States under the age of 30. Contest not open to employees of JNF and their families, their advertising agencies, vendors or partners. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules and the Terms and Conditions of the contest. Jewish National Fund reserves the right (but is not obligated) to verify eligibility qualifications of any entrant or winner. All videos become the property of JNF and can be used in future publicity. All submissions must be sent via the JNF VIDEO CONTEST YouTube page at http://www.youtube.com/jnfcontest.
