Ben Gurion's House

Ben Gurion

In 1953, David Ben Gurion, Israel’s first prime minister, resigned from office and moved with his wife Paula to Kibbutz Sde Boker in the Negev. Their home has been preserved just as it was on the day of Ben Gurion’s death in 1973, complete with his private library of more than 5,000 books. An education center highlights Ben Gurion’s connection to the Negev.
