Executive Assistant to Chief Israel Emissary and Boruchin Fund

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative and project management support for the programs associated with the Chief Israel Emissary and Boruchin Fund. This is a Manhattan based position, reporting to both the Chief Israel Emissary and Boruchin Fund professionals and will be under the supervision of two separate departments/branches of JNF.

 

Job Accountabilities:

  • Manage database information
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and calls
  • Maintenance/management of lay leadership communications
  • Analyze data, research projects, prepare presentations and donor reports
  • Work with Marketing department to create promotional material, invites, Eblasts and other communications
  • Drafting of correspondence
  • Working closely with JNF Partner Liaisons in Israel
  • Working on projects and programs as needed
  • Answering phones
  • Drafting documents: letters, Grant agreements, emails, agendas etc
  • Keeping track of grant requirements, important dates, payments and deadlines
  • Maintaining correspondence with committee, grantees and applicants
  • Taking minutes in meetings
  • Transcribing dictations for correspondence
  • Ability to plan and execute events
  • Other administrative duties as needed
  • Salesforce data management. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years related experience
  • BA/BS degree 
  • Candidate must be fluent in both English and Hebrew
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task with numerous deadlines 
  • Excellent organizational, planning and leadership skills 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Database) 
  • Some travel may be required
