Jay Shofet
Bio
Jay Shofet is the Director of Partnerships and Development for The Society for the Protection of Nature, where he works to protect and preserve Israel’s natural resources, environment, and unique landscape for generations to come. Previously, Mr. Shofet directed the Green Environment Fund, which supports Israel’s environmental movement. He also worked for the Jewish Agency in Israel as director of the People-to-People Center and as an Israel Emissary in Boston. At the People-to-People Center he founded initiatives to connect Jewish communities with Israeli society based on affinities and professions, and while serving as an Israel Emissary, he helped connect the Jewish Diaspora community to its roots in Israel.
