Bio

Ofir Fisher is the co-founder and executive vice president of the OR Movement, a JNF partner organization with the mission of developing the Negev and Galilee to reach their full social and economic potentials. His devotion to developing Israel began when he completed the “Israel National Trail,” an extreme hike from the Northern to Southern tip of Israel, exploring all that the country has to offer. Following the expedition, he co-founded the community of Sansana in 1999, the first community to be established in the Negev in over 15 years at that point. Mr. Fisher also served six years as a submarine captain in the Israeli navy.
