Bio

Evelyn Spritz is a staunch environmental activist and the president of JNF’s Northeast Zone. Her commitment to improving quality of life for Israelis began in 1992, when during a mission to Israel she witnessed the devastation of a drought there. Since then, she has persistently championed JNF’s work to bolster Israel’s water economy by developing alternative water sources, advancing agriculture, and improving water quality. She has assumed various leadership roles for JNF, including as president of its Philadelphia regional and Eastern Pennsylvania boards, and  as a member of its Sapphire Society, President’s Council, Century Club, and Parsons Water Fund board.
