Rabbi Sheldon Harr

Bio
Rabbi Sheldon Harr was President of the Rabbinic Council of JNF, and he also served as JNF Broward Board President from 1996- 2000. He is the founding rabbi of Temple Kol Ami, the largest congregation in Broward, where he was the Senior Rabbi for 37 years, and in 2014 he was named its Founding Rabbi Emeritus. Rabbi Harr currently serves as Chaplain for the FBI, is a founding and active member of the Broward Partnership for the Homeless, and also active in support of the Union for Reform Judaism’s Camp Coleman. He is honored to have a Memorial Grove planted in Israel in memory of his and his wife Fern’s daughter Elizabeth Shoshanna Harr.
