Bio

Attorney Ike Blachor (New York, NY) has been an active member of the American, New York State, and Nassau County Bar Associations, and is a past President of the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County. He served as the Chair of the Committee on Professional Ethics of the Nassau County Bar Association and as a member of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Professional Responsibility. He is a past Chair of the Long Island Cabinet for State of Israel Bonds, and founder of the Holocaust Memorial and Educational Center of Nassau County. He has been active in JNF since serving as National JNF Vice President for the American Zionist Youth Council in the early 1960s. Ike is a past President of JNF’s Long Island Board, served two terms as National Secretary, and is a Negev Society and Century Council member, and former Vice President, Israel Relations. Ike was the 2014 recipient of JNF’s Gould Legacy Society Heritage Award.
