Birdwatching and Nature Photography Mission

This mission will be a unique experience for anyone who wants to see Israel’s spectacular ecology first-hand and understand what JNF is doing to preserve and enhance it.

Mission Highlights Include:

  • Visit world-renowned bird sanctuaries in the Galilee and Negev, and observe thousands of birds – over 390 species – as they travel on a migratory route between Africa, Europe and Asia.
  • Hear guest lectures from top birdwatching experts.
  • Spend two days on a birdwatching excursion through Cyprus, a major stop along the migratory route between Africa, Europe and Asia.
  • Visit the Hula Birdwatching Center, named one of the most outstanding sites throughout the world for nature observation and photography by BBC Wildlife
  • Magazine, the best selling natural history and environmental magazine.
  • Take part in a nature photography workshop with professional photographer Eyal Bartov.
  • Visit JNF sites and projects while touring throughout the country. Suitable for veteran visitors, as well as first-timers to Israel.
