FIRE & RESCUE: ISRAEL RESILIENCE CAMPAIGN ACTIVITY

·       Responding to all home front emergency calls regarding ongoing rocket fire from Gaza including fires, explosions, and destruction

·       Using specialized equipment to reach hard-to-access and rural areas for first response needs

·       Providing nine firetrucks in the north and the south and one specialized firetruck for volunteers, covering the entire southern Gaza envelope region. 

·       Providing protective gear for firefighter reserves and volunteers called up in the war

·       Provided two search and rescue pickups for Israel Nature & Park Authority to be used in assistance with the war effort. 

FIRE & RESCUE: EVERYDAY WORK

As Israel’s population grows and more people move to the North and South, the small but powerful Israel Fire and Rescue Authority is stretched. To address this, Jewish National Fund-USA is building on its commitment to keep the land and people of Israel safe through the continuation of our partnership with the Israel Fire and Rescue Authority, Israel Nature Services, and local search and rescue centers in remote areas of the Negev.
