Bio

Jay Schottenstein (Columbus, OH) is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Schottenstein Stores Corporation, DSW Inc., American Signature Inc., Value City Furniture, Schottenstein Property Group, and American Eagle Outfitters Inc. Deeply committed to Jewish education and community, Jay is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mesorah Heritage Foundation, the Columbus Torah Academy, and Congregation Torat Emet. He and his family are the major benefactors to numerous national and international projects including the 73-volume Schottenstein Edition of the Talmud Bavli, the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Honors Program at Yeshiva University, the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Prize in Cardiovascular Sciences at Ohio State University, and the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein National Campus for the Archeology of Israel in Jerusalem.  Jay is a member of JNF’s King Solomon Society and World Chairman’s Council.
