Sue Oliff Carneol

Bio

Sue Oliff Carneol is a speech-language pathologist with almost 40 years of experience helping individuals with communication disorders and other disabilities. She is currently the owner of a private practice in the Milwaukee area. Prior to that she worked for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, several public and private schools in the area, and mental health clinics. Sue has taught at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Sue has been instrumental in bringing an arts-based program, Upstream Arts, to Milwaukee from Minneapolis which provides social and life skills training for individuals with disabilities of all ages. Sue has been active in Milwaukee’s Jewish Community for over 30 years as a lay leader and committee member. Being passionate supporters of Israel, Sue and her husband were proud to be honored at the Milwaukee JNF Tribute Event in 2013. Sue has served on the Board of Directors for the Milwaukee Branch of JNF since that time and was recently asked to be on JNF’s Task Force on Disabilities. Through these recent experiences, Sue has developed a strong appreciation of the projects and programs JNF supports that enhance the quality of life for all the residents of Israel.
