Bio

Professor David Katz teaches courses on environmental and resource economics, water management, and economic and political geography in the University of Haifa's Department of Geography and Environmental Studies. He is also an adjunct lecturer at Tel Aviv University’s Recanati School of Management and Porter School for Environmental Studies. He applies his vast content knowledge to address crucial geopolitical and environmental problems through his work for NGOs, including EcoPeace Middle East, an environmental group focused on joint Israeli-Palestinian-Jordanian cooperation in addressing trans-boundary resource scarcity. He regularly serves as a guide and educator on JNF missions to Israel.
