Bio

Noreen Koppelman-Goldstein is President and General Counsel for Midwest Materials, Inc., a steel service center in Perry, Ohio. She has seen the 64-year-old company grow from a one-room office to a 200,000 square foot warehouse on 60 acres of land. In the 80s, her parents attended a seminar that suggested daughters become part of their family businesses. When Noreen graduated law school, she accepted the invitation to join her father in running the business. Since then, her two sons have become involved and she has hopes to see a fourth generation working in the company. Her family has been involved with JNF for over 50 years, and she joined Cleveland board in the 90s. She is a past JNF Board Vice President, a Century Council member, an inaugural member of the Sapphire Society, chair of Women for Israel, and has been honored with the Woman of Valor award in 1994. She has also been President of the Lake County Bar Association, member of the Foundation Board and the Investment Committee for Lakeland Community College, and on the Board of Trustees for Menorah Park, an elder care community in Cleveland.
She is blessed that all her children have moved back to Cleveland and treasures the special time with her grandchildren.
