Mark Schlanger is Founder, Former President, Vice President, and CEO of The Better World for Our Children Foundation. Along with being JNF’s Sarasota Board President, Mark is also the Chair of JNF’s Doctor’s For Israel in Sarasota, and Co-Chair of the JNF Guardian of Israel Dinner. He is also on the board of Pines of Sarasota Foundation, a facility providing rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care. Mark has served two terms on the board of the Sarasota Manatee Jewish Federation including serving as Campaign Chair and on the Board Selection Committee and was the recipient of their Tikkun Olam Award. In addition he also established a Community Development Fund with the Sarasota Manatee Jewish Federation, which supports various community-based projects.
