Bio

Janet Wellish moved to Las Vegas in 1994 with her husband Kent and their daughter Hanna. They soon became a family of five with the addition of Isaac and Eve. Janet is part of The Wellish Vision Institute team, operating as their special events planner. Serving on the JNF Board, Janet feels it is up to us, as a caring community of Jews, to help support the Jewish homeland. She has an affinity for JNF programs such as building water reservoirs and desalination efforts, developing the infrastructure for new communities in the Negev and Galilee, and programs such as Nefesh B'nefesh that promote successful Aliyah and The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies in southern Israel that prepares Muslim, Christian, and Jewish students to cooperatively address the shared environmental challenges of the Middle East.
