Bio

Dana Weiss is one of Israel’s most trusted and decorated journalists. As the Chief Political Analyst for Israel’s Channel 2 she has reported from the frontlines of every major war and political event in the last two decades. A prolific journalist and political commentator, she worked first as a legal affairs correspondent and then as host of ‘Meet the Press’ for almost a decade. Ms. Weiss also anchors the prime-time Saturday evening news, the most watched news program in Israel. Ms. Weiss is a leading figure in Israel working towards women’s empowerment and gender equality, having volunteered for over a decade in this area. She received her first degree from the Hebrew University Faculty of Law and her LLM from Tel Aviv University. Ms. Weiss lives with her husband and three sons in Tel Aviv.
