Bio

As the Central Arava Regional Council’s Director of Resource Development, Noa Zer partners closely with JNF to sustain and develop Israel’s arid desert region along the Jordanian border. With the support of her leadership and JNF, the Israeli government is allocating resources for the development of an agricultural training center, kindergartens, water solutions and various other community development projects in the region. A sabra raised in the suburbs of Tel Aviv, Noa lives with her husband—a second-generation pepper farmer—and her 3-year-old son in Moshav Paran.
