Jewish National Fund-USA Welcomes New Miami-Dade Board Members

Miami, FL., March 15, 2021 – Jewish National Fund-USA’s (JNF-USA) Miami-Dade leadership are pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Regional Board of Directors.

The three new board members include: Mitchell Feldman of The Feldman Companies, Jessica Cohen with The Miami Foundation, and Adam Lipkin of Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate.

“Our community is blessed to have so many philanthropically minded individuals like Mitchell, Jessica, Adam, and our entire board who care deeply about the land and people of Israel,” said JNF-USA Miami-Dade President, Maia Aron. At JNF-USA, our dedicated team of community lay leaders work tirelessly to support the growth of communities in Israel’s Negev and Galilee as we connect the Miami community to Israel through trips, events, and virtual programming, as well as provide free Israel education programming to Miami K-12 schools and college campuses.”

Attorney Mitchell Feldman, has more than 25 years of successful real estate development experience. The Feldman Companies has developed over 2 million SF of best in class self storage throughout the US and Puerto Rico with over 1 million SF in upcoming new projects. As an attorney, Feldman represented real estate and corporate matters and personally attended thousands of hearings throughout Florida representing over $20 billion of property in the tax abatement process. With a multi-discipline background in real estate and corporate law, valuation, title, foreclosure and finance, Mr. Feldman is uniquely positioned to deftly handle such matters.

Jessica Cohen serves as Content Manager at The Miami Foundation, where she develops and manages all of the Foundation’s written, visual, and multimedia content. Prior to moving to Miami, Ms. Cohen worked as the Director of Communications with the Jewish Agency for Israel, in France. She started her career at UNESCO, where she stayed eight years and developed a passion for the nonprofit world. 

Adam Lipkin is Executive Director with Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate, a Hannon Armstrong partner (NYSE: HASI). Prior to joining Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate, Mr. Lipkin was Vice President at Grandbridge, a national real estate financing platform. Mr. Lipkin is a native South Floridian who has worked in the South Florida community as a commercial real estate finance professional for the past 14 years and lives in Surfside, FL with his wife and two daughters under two.
