New York, NY: January 11, 2019 – Jewish National Fund (JNF-USA) is celebrating Tu BiShvat by giving one lucky winner the chance to travel to Israel with a guest and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience for free! Anyone can enter to win this special prize by planting a tree with the organization—a fitting way to celebrate Tu BiShvat, the Jewish New Year for Trees—and the more trees planted, the more chances to win!

Jewish National Fund has partnered with EL AL Airlines and the Carlton Hotel Tel Aviv for an exciting sweepstakes to win a trip of a lifetime.

When participants plant a tree through, or by calling 800.542.8733, between Jan. 11, 2019 at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and Jan. 21, 2019 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, they will be entered to win the grand prize of:

  • Two free round-trip tickets to Israel for the winner and guest, courtesy of EL AL Airlines; 
  • Two-night stay at the Carlton Tel Aviv; 
  • JNF Day Tour for two people.

Ten runners-up will win a free JNF E-Z Tree™ account of 10 trees.

Tu BiShvat, celebrated this year on January 21, embodies the abiding dedication to ecology, environmentalism, and conservation that JNF has always championed. Over the years, Tu BiShvat has taken on the theme of planting trees in Israel, creating a special connection to JNF. Additionally, Jewish National Fund sponsors events and school programs in hundreds of communities across the United States and, in partnership with the Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) fraternity, engages young adults on 135 college campuses. Online and telephone entries must be received by 11:59:59 ET on Jan. 21, 2019 and mail-in entries must be postmarked by Jan. 21, 2019 and received by end of business day on Jan. 28, 2019.
