Goats for Shavuot? Eastern PA Young Professionals Say Alpaca My Bags!

PHILADELPHIA, Pa., June 13, 2022 - On Sunday, June 5, 2022, young professionals from Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania joined JNFuture, Jewish National Fund-USA’s community of young philanthropists ages 22-40, for a fun social gathering sponsored by JNFuture member, Danielle Hankin, to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. Attendees enjoyed networking with like-minded community members who are passionate about the land and people of Israel while interacting with adorable animals, including alpacas and goats, at Rolling Hills Farm in Erwinna.

The group also spent the afternoon poolside on the property while learning about Jewish National Fund-USA's important work in Israel’s Arava region. Although this region in Israel receives less than an inch of rain per year, the Arava exports more than 50% of its produce and 10% of its fresh flowers annually to markets across the globe.
