New JNFuture Exec Already Making an Impact in SoFla

MIAMI, October 12, 2022 — Jewish National Fund-USA is excited to welcome Nehama Schwartz as the new South Florida Campaign Executive for JNFuture, its philanthropic division for ages 22–40. A passionate supporter of Israel with a proven track record of achieving results, Nehama is a welcome addition to the Jewish National Fund-USA family.

Originally from New York, Nehama previously served as a fundraiser for an art nonprofit in Manhattan. However, her history of engagement with the Jewish community goes back to her time at Queens College, where she was the Student President of the university’s Hillel. “Since then, I always knew that I wanted to work at a Jewish non-profit organization,” she said.

Wasting no time to get to know the South Florida community, Schwartz hosted several events in Miami, Broward, and Palm Beach counties over the summer, from “Sip n’ Schmooze,” happy hours, where attendees came to socialize and hear words of inspiration, to a sold-out paint night that supported Jewish National Fund-USA’s bomb shelter beautification project in the Gaza Envelope, as well as a VIP steakhouse dinner for local JNFuture major donors.

Schwartz, who visits Israel as often as she can, understands the responsibility of inspiring young professionals to engage in philanthropy.

“I’m excited to be the new JNFuture Campaign Executive in South Florida,” she said. “I look forward to working with individuals who are just learning about the power of philanthropy, and I am grateful for this opportunity to guide them along their journey.”

Following the success of her summer programming, Schwartz is putting together several events for the fall as well, starting with a meaningful Shabbat dinner for JNFuture Miami philanthropists on October 28.

Nehama is confident that her early success in South Florida is a sign of things to come. “With multiple successful events already and hopefully more on the horizon, I look forward to engaging members of the community who are passionate about the land and people of Israel,” she said.
