Statement:

Remembering the Victims of the

Tree of Life Synagogue Attack

New York, NY: October 27 - As we come together to commemorate the second anniversary of the attack on Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life – Or L'Simcha Congregation, we remember the victims and honor their memories.

When faced with tragedy, we respond in the only way we know how – by rededicating our mission to the pursuit of life and living.

Jewish National Fund-USA’s Tree of Life Synagogue Memorial located in the foothills of Jerusalem ensures that the names of those we lost will always be remembered.

Just as powerful are the hundreds of trees planted around the memorial that represent our People’s eternal pursuit of renewal and regeneration.

As we remember the victims of the attack, may the Almighty comfort the victims’ families among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
