Jewish National Fund-USA CEO Hosts Israeli Olympic Judoka

Livingston, NJ., October 27, 2021 —Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF-USA) hosted one of Israel’s brightest Olympic stars when the organization’s CEO, Russell F. Robinson, met with Israeli Judoka, Ori Sasson.

“Jewish National Fund-USA is more than an organization; it’s a really big family,” said Sasson. “Russell and I share a love of Israel that brings us together, and we both have a vision of making Israel a better place for everyone.”

Sasson first met Russell when he spoke on a Jewish National Fund-USA college tour in 2018. At the time, Sasson was training for the Tokyo Olympics, but Russell told Sasson that if he was ever in New York, he should stop by the JNF-USA office. Sasson took him up on his offer.

“I thank Russell for his hospitality whenever I’m in New York,” added Sasson. “He is a true friend of the people of Israel and a man of vision doing something amazing, and I have a lot that I can learn from him. Together we can do beautiful things for the land and people of Israel.”

Russell F. Robinson added: “The Olympic stars are the people in Kiryat Shmona, Be’er Sheva, and Dimona. That is who Jewish National Fund-USA is all about. The land and people of Israel are champions of the Jewish people everywhere, and every project and initiative we undertake is to support these superstars.”
