Learn what Jewish life and worship was like in the historic Seventh Street, NW, neighborhood from 1850 to 1950 through four former synagogue buildings. Explore the various ways in which the neighborhood has changed over time, and how this transformation echoes the rhythm of the rest of the city.
Jewish Arlington National Cemetery Walking Tour

On this tour of Arlington National Cemetery, participants will learn about the cemetery’s origins, the various roles Jewish Americans have played in the military, and how Jewish Americans have navigated these dual identities in life and death. Stops include the graves of several Supreme Court Justices, the Confederate Memorial by Sir Moses Ezekiel, the Challenger and Columbia Space Shuttle Memorials, and the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
