Join us for our first Positively Israel program of the 2021-2022 school year, where we will hear from social media influencer and Israel advocate Rudy Rochman. Caught in the crosshairs of a conflict between the Biafran separatists and the Nigerian government, Rudy will share his story of being trapped in a Nigerian prison for three weeks while visiting the African country to film a feature on the local Igbo Jewish community.  Zoom link provided upon registration.

Israel Advocate, Influencer


Rudy Rochman is a social media influencer who creates educational viral content aimed at shifting the global, ideological, and political conversations regarding the Jewish people and Israel. In 2018, Rochman was chosen for the 36 Under 36 award of most influential Jews in the world for his work and activism.


Rochman runs several businesses and is a leader in multiple grassroots movements such as LAVI, VISION, and HaBayit, which focus on Jewish education and uniting Israeli and Palestinian local activists. He also sits on the board of the American Zionist Movement and on the board of The Israel Innovation Fund.
