This month, we will hear from Jewish National Fund affiliate Megan Turner from Eretz Ir, and learn how JNF is helping boost employment in the Negev.

Megan Turner is originally from Fort Smith, Arkansas and made aliyah to Be’er Sheva, Israel in 2012. She has a Master’s in social work and is completing her PhD at Ben Gurion University where she studies the effects of racism on new immigrants in Israel’s periphery. She began working with Eretz Ir, the nonprofit that oversees the Lauder Employment Center, at the height of the 2020 coronavirus outbreak, and is now leading the Lauder Employment Center's social media strategy and is acting as ttheir JNF-USA liaison. She is passionate about building and strengthening Israel’s periphery, specifically in the Negev where she lives with her fiance, Yagel, and two rescue dogs.
