Free Activities for Negev Residents

| Jewish National Fund

A quick update about what JNF is doing to support and encourage the residents of the Negev. All free of charge, of course:

About 300 children and their parents arrived this morning at the Sderot Playground, which was opened especially for them. It was absolutely amazing to see them enjoying themselves and playing safely after a week of non-stop shelling.
Anava Park, near Modi'in, hosted nearly 1000 people from all over the South for a great variety of activities: boating, arts & crafts, different ball games and much more. Yesterday, about 2000 people enjoyed Kiftzuba Park near Jerusalem.
Together with the Society for Preservation of Israel Heritage Sites - more than 50 heritage sites were opened for the residents of the Negev. Among them: the Ayalon Institute, Atlit and many more.

Neot Kedumim is running special tours and activities, and so are Ammunition Hill and Timna Park.

Green Horizons and the Alexander Muss School have organized a special camp for the Negev kids.

Central Arava and Gush Etzion are hosting families and offering tours.

Hechal Shlomo is hosting a special show for over 300 children.

The Music Box Museum in Ein Hod is open free of charge.

Oh, and our weekly departure is running as scheduled this Wednesday, but due to the situation it'll go to 9/11 Memorial, Ammunition Hill, Gush Etzion and Neot Kedumim.

Hoping for more quiet days.
