ESHKOL RESILIENCE CENTER
Therapy and Healing
The Eshkol Region in the northwest section of the Negev, lies between Be’er Sheva and the Gaza Strip and has been the target of thousands of rocket attacks since 2000. This region was one of the hardest-hit in the October 7 attacks.
Jewish National Fund-USA’s Eshkol Resilience Center has been providing emotional therapy and support to families living in the region for years. Now, with the number of people needing mental health services more than tripling over the last several months, we are expanding the facility and its services to meet the growing needs of the region. These numbers will continue to grow as people return home, return from reserve duty, and feel the ongoing impact and weight of their post-October 7 world.
A larger Eshkol Resilience Center will allow it to grow its services to include traditional one-on-one sessions, group therapy, family counseling, as well as art, drama, pet, and movement therapy. Other services will include workshops, monitoring the population, opening treatment centers in schools, and more to meet people where they are.
