A new partnership between Jewish National Fund-USA and e-commerce specialists, ESEK, will enable products from Israeli small businesses to reach American consumers in record time.
Small business owners in Israel’s North and South, along with American consumers, will now benefit from a new partnership between Jewish National Fund-USA’s online store for Israeli-made goods and e-commerce specialists ESEK.
In this first-of-its-kind partnership, ESEK will manage sales and logistics for American consumers purchasing products from small businesses in Israel’s North and South. Previously, orders placed through the store were shipped directly from Israel, which could take several weeks to reach buyers. The new partnership will allow American consumers to receive their products in days, rather than weeks, through ESEK’s US warehouse.
Jewish National Fund-USA’s online store launched in 2019 to support Israeli small businesses affected by the pandemic-driven downturn in tourism. Originally called “The Online Mitzvah Marketplace,” the initiative provided a vital economic lifeline to “mom-and-pop” enterprises that had relied heavily on tourist foot traffic.
Through a Jewish National Fund-USA-supported Small Business Association, hundreds of businesses have benefited from training and access to the organization's network of supporters and distributors. The association also plays a vital role in advancing the organization's mission to strengthen Israel’s frontier regions. This assistance will only grow under the new ESEK partnership.
“Our new partnership with ESEK reflects the strong growth our online store has seen in recent years,” said Jewish National Fund-USA National Product Chair Rob Ganz. “We’re excited that it will now be easier and more efficient than ever for American consumers to purchase quality products from Israel while continuing to support the small businesses that create them.”
The new partnership will also enable communities across the U.S. to host Jewish National Fund-USA-branded “pop-up” marketplaces at gatherings and celebrations.
“Israel is home to over 600,000 small businesses, which are the cornerstone of communities and the Israeli economy. We are proud to partner with Jewish National Fund-USA to bring products from small businesses across Israel, as well as the remarkable stories behind them, to households across the United States. Our combined efforts are a vital lifeline for small businesses still recovering after October 7 and the ongoing impacts of the war,” said ESEK Founder Andrew Keene.
From soaps and Judaica to home decor and holiday gifts, Jewish National Fund-USA’s online store has proven popular with both consumers and the businesses that supply them.
