Leadership Program for 10th Graders

The Sababa Fellowship is a year-long leadership program for 10th graders. Designed for teens interested in community service, the Fellowship develops their leadership and communication skills. The Fellowship focuses on building skills through training sessions and webinars, as well as mentorship and leadership seminars. Fellows will travel to Israel with Roots Israel Service-Learning Trip in Summer 2022 (dates TBD), and attend JNF-USA's National Conference in Boston in the Fall of 2022. 



Program Requirements*:

  • Raise a minimum of $1,500 from at least 10 donors
  • Full participation in a series of 6 webinars presented by JNF-USA professionals and lay leaders
  • Attend the Roots Israel 4-week trip in the summer of 2022 at no cost to the student (not including flight) (view this year's itinerary)
  • Attend JNF-USA's National Conference in the Fall of 2022
  • Recruit a minimum of 10 Sababa Society members
  • Identify future Sababa Fellows
  • Plan 2 JNF-USA programs with local Israel professional
