Lior Lev Sercarz, the visionary behind the Galilee Culinary Institute, is the chef, spice blender and owner of La Boîte, a biscuits and spice shop in New York City. Lior is the author of “The Art of Blending Cookbook”, “The Spice Companion”, and “Mastering Spice: Recipes & Techniques to Transform Your Everyday Cooking”.

Michael Solomonov, who was recently appointed as the inaugural Culinary Advisory Council member for the GCI, is the Executive Chef and co-Owner of Zahav, Philadelphia’s pioneering Israeli restaurant. The James Beard Foundation has bestowed upon Michael numerous awards, including that of “Outstanding Chef in 2017”, while his Zahav restaurant was awarded the James Beard Award for “Outstanding Restaurant – May 2019”.
