LOS ANGELES, Calif., August 19, 2021 — The prestigious Riviera Country Club, which is renowned for its magnificent golf course and world-class service, will once again be the venue for Jewish National Fund-USA’s (JNF-USA) 31st annual Los Angeles Golf Classic on October 4. The Riviera has been the official site of JNF-USA’s annual tournament for six consecutive years, has accommodated some of the world’s greatest golfers, hosted revered national tournaments such as the U.S. Open, PGA Championship, and U.S. Senior Open, and will be the home of the 2028 Olympic Games for golf.

This year, JNF-USA is proud to have Advanced Nutrients as the event’s title sponsor.

“Advanced Nutrients is thrilled to partner with JNF-USA on this prominent event and play a leading role in bringing the Los Angeles philanthropic community together,” said Michael Straumietis, CEO/Founder of Advanced Nutrients.

In addition, for the first time in its 30-year history, the tournament will be hosted in memory of an individual. The late David Frank, who was fondly referred to as “Mr. JNF-USA in Los Angeles,” was a member of the JNF-USA National Board of Directors and JNF-USA’s Los Angeles Board of Directors for 35 years. He was an active and engaged member of the Los Angeles Jewish community and was integral to the success of the LA Golf Classic and other JNF-USA initiatives in years past.

“David was truly a one-of-a-kind mensch with a passion for Zionist advocacy and education,” said JNF-USA Executive Director of Los Angeles Lou Rosenberg. “Dedicating his memory to this particular event that brought him so much joy is the best way we could honor our dear friend and lay leader.”

Proceeds from the event will go toward JNF-USA’s One Billion Dollar Roadmap for the Next Decade which has raised more than $820 million dollars over the last seven years in support of critical environmental and nation building activities in Israel’s north and south.
