SOCIETY FOR THE PRESERVATION OF ISRAEL HERITAGE SITES Stands with Israel: Israel Resilience Campaign Activity
· Since the start of the war, the Society for Preservation of Israel Heritage Sites (SPIHS) team has visited evacuation centers across the country, enriching children and adults through heritage-oriented games and activities and bringing respite to evacuees in these challenging times.
· SPIHS heritage sites have opened their doors to thousands of evacuees, families and soldiers at no cost, offering them free guided tours and activities. In addition, multiple SPIHS heritage sites serve as resilience centers, temporary housing areas, kindergartens, and anything else the displaced communities require.
· SPIHS is mapping and assessing the damage made to 18 heritage sites in the Western Negev, with a view to rehabilitating and upgrading them, and turning them into economic engines to help the region flourish once more.
