Jewish National Fund-USA, the University of Arizona, and Israel’s Arava Regional Councils have formed the Kasser Joint Institute for Food, Water and Energy Security with the mission of introducing innovative technology that builds capacity for food, water, and energy security in vulnerable communities in arid and hyper-arid environments — with a focus on Africa.
Funding Opportunities
SPONSOR AN AICAT STUDENT FOR THE KASSER JOINT INSTITUTE RESEARCH IN THE ARAVA: 10 units (to support a student for 10 months): $1,800
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS FOR RESEARCH: 8 units (4 units for the Agrivoltaic research and 4 units for the Aquaponic research): $2,500
OFF SITE IMPLEMENTATION FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS IN KENYA: 6 units (unit per participant): $3,600
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS FOR RESEARCH: 4 units (2 units for the Agrivoltaic research and 2 units for the Aquaponic research): $5,000
