Jewish National Fund-USA helped build the land of Israel and works today to sustain it.

The modern state of Israel started as a dream: for Jewish people everywhere to have a country of their own, an oasis from antisemitism and discrimination, in their ancestral homeland. However, making the dream a reality required more than hard work; it needed the support and partnership of Jews from around the world.

For generations, Jewish National Fund has been galvanizing that support and directing it to where Israel needs it most. Jewish National Fund purchased some of the first parcels of land of what would become the state of Israel in 1948 and developed much of the country’s initial infrastructure.

In the years since, it has stood side by side with the people of Israel, spearheading projects that enhance their quality of life — from improving the water supply to building hospitals and schools across the country.

Jewish National Fund-USA continues to stand with the people of Israel today, developing the security tools that ensure the Jewish homeland will endure for our children and grandchildren.
