JNFuture Presents:
Investing in Inclusion

Sunday, February 21, 2021
2:00 pm (ET)/11:00 am (PT)
Zoom
From the sunbaked sand of the Negev to the thick forests on the southern slopes of Mount Hebron, Israel has some of the most diverse and awe inspiring landscapes. However, exploring Israel can be a challenge for many people, especially those with special needs.
Join JNFuture as we learn more about LOTEM, the leading organization in Israel offering accessible hiking trails and educational nature activities. We will also hear from Raz Rutman, a LOTEM tour guide and program participant, as he shares with us his inspiring life experience.
Featured Guest Speaker
Raz Rutman
Raz Rutman is a highly sought-after tour guide for LOTEM, an Israeli organization and Jewish National Fund-USA affiliate that strives to make Israel’s great outdoors accessible for people with disabilities. Raz was paralyzed in a car accident when he was eight, becoming quadriplegic in all four limbs. When he turned 18, Raz served his national service as an instructor at LOTEM and was then hired by the organization as an employee. Raz lives a full and rich life, is active in the field of accessibility, and is a symbol of strength and coping.
