WHITEFISH BAY, Wis., June 16, 2025 — Wisconsin philanthropists who are determined to rebuild communities in Israel’s North and South will unite in Whitefish Bay on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, for Jewish National Fund-USA’s annual Breakfast for Israel featuring Israeli Prime Minister's Office (PMO) spokesperson Tal Heinrich.
Following the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023, Heinrich, who is also a journalist, was called up to speak on behalf of the PMO to international media, and throughout the war, has given hundreds of interviews to top media outlets and led daily briefings from the National Public Diplomacy Directorate.
As a multilingual public speaker and news anchor, Tal reported and provided analysis on U.S. politics and foreign affairs for Israel's Channel 14 news and Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). She also previously hosted a daily primetime show on i24NEWS, covered the United Nations, and produced for CNN International from Jerusalem during the 2014 Israel-Gaza war.
“Tal Heinrich has been on the frontlines of global media since October 7, ensuring Israel’s voice is heard,” said Event Co-chair Mara Kleiman. “With years of experience in journalism and Middle Eastern affairs, she will provide a critical debrief on the latest developments in the region, offering insight into Israel’s current challenges, security, and diplomatic landscape.”
Local lay leaders will also highlight Jewish National Fund-USA’s Build Together plan for Israel’s South and its Reimagine plan for Israel’s North, and how the organization is consistently meeting the changing needs of Israelis living on (and currently evacuated from) the Gazan and Lebanese borders.
“The future of Israel begins with what we do today,” added Event Co-chair Matthew Kleiman. “This is our time to act. By coming together at our Breakfast for Israel, we’re not just listening—we’re rebuilding, investing in hope, and helping restore the spirit and infrastructure of communities that have endured so much.”
