At Jewish National Fund-USA, no project exists in isolation. Each initiative sparks positive change—strengthening communities, creating jobs, boosting economic growth, and moving us closer to our goal of attracting 800,000 new residents to Israel’s north and south. The past month served as another powerful example of Jewish National Fund-USA’s circles of impact strategy in motion.
Education & Agriculture
Through Jewish National Fund-USA-supported outdoor youth education programs in Israel, students rolled up their sleeves to beautify kindergartens in the North while engaging in leadership and teamwork. A first-ever national summer program united youth village students from across Israel as a new campus will open in Yaron this September, further expanding educational opportunities in Israel’s North.
Caring for the Most Vulnerable
At the Rehabilitation Village supported by Jewish National Fund-USA, 850 staff, including doctors and therapists, delivered life-changing care to residents and patients. From hydrotherapy sessions to equine treatments for IDF veterans with PTSD, their reach is extraordinary—supporting children with disabilities, families in need, and thousands of outpatients each year. Expansion of the rehabilitation hospital is underway, adding 40 new beds this Fall.
Inspiring the Next Generation
The Alexander Muss High School in Israel welcomed students on entrepreneurship, exploration, and classic academic tracks, while forging partnerships for future programs. Meanwhile, a Jewish National Fund-USA-supported outdoor youth education group took 3,000 young people on summer treks across the north, nurturing teamwork and Zionist values, and Ammunition Hill hosted a powerful mix of IDF ceremonies, youth education, and community events.
Building Communities
From the Israel Envelope, where fortification projects and resilience centers symbolize recovery, to Kiryat Shmona, where new families are planting roots, our work is transforming the periphery. In the southern Israeli region of Ramat HaNegev, we broke agricultural ground with desert-grown pineapples, yielding over 40 tons per hectare.
Expanding Horizons
The Global Culinary Institute by JNF now enters its operational phase this fall, with dormitories, upgraded facilities, and construction underway. Internationally, the Kasser Joint Institute for Food, Water, and Energy Security is bringing prosperity to Kenyan farmers while bringing jobs to Israel’s south.
Heritage, Healing & Resilience
From Jewish National Fund-USA’s program for youth with disabilities who want to enter the IDF, where nearly 1,000 soldiers with disabilities serve proudly, to heritage sites offering trauma recovery programs, July was a reminder of the resilience and spirit of the Jewish people.
Together, these circles of impact show that Jewish National Fund-USA is not only building for today but laying the foundations for generations to come.
