Ma’alot: Taking Steps Towards Raising Israel Awareness
Synagogue Grants for Israel Programming
Jewish National Fund-USA and Nefesh B’Nefesh are excited to offer Ma’alot Grants for Israel-related synagogue programming to strengthen the connection between your synagogue community, our organizations, and our beloved Israel.
Funding
Grants up to $2500 will be available to US synagogues of any stream or denomination. Programming can be geared to any population in your congregation and must be Israel-centric.
Timing
We are now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Ma'alot grant year for programs that will take place from July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024. Applications will be reviewed once a month by a committee and the decision will be conveyed via email. We have a limited pool of money to distribute and once that money has been awarded we will no longer accept new applications.
Grant Requirements
- All publicity and materials should bear the Jewish National Fund-USA and Nefesh B’Nefesh logos.
- Regular communication with your Jewish National Fund-USA Education team member and Nefesh B’Nefesh professionals is required.
