Resources from Previous Mission:
We Choose Life – October 7 Solidarity Mission
As we mark a year since the October 7 massacre, it is essential to find a meaningful way to commemorate the people affected by the atrocities, and continuously support the land and the people of Israel. Jewish National Fund-USA has a variety of resources to do just that. We offer ways to not only honor and commemorate those murdered on October 7, but also offer support to evacuees, IDF soldiers, and others through our different initiatives.
In Loving Memory of
Ofir Libstein, z”l
Ofir Libstein z”l was the mayor of the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council, a region supported by Jewish National Fund-USA’s Blueprint Negev strategy. Libstein previously served as Director on the Board of KKL-JNF and as Director of “From North to South – Tikkun Olam,” a Jewish Agency for Israel program. Ofir was murdered defending his kibbutz of Kfar Aza on October 7.
Yarden Buskila, z"l
Yarden was murdered at the age of 25, at the Nova Music Festival by Kibbutz Re'im. He was a manager in a hi-tech company and liked to "devour life". After his death, the family decided to perpetuate his memory by creating a garden in Kibbutz Kfar Masarik, where Yarden grew up - a space where the children and families of the kibbutz can plant, hang out and be educated according to his values.
