About Our Event
Join Jewish National Fund-USA and JNFuture Tri-State and Central New Jersey for an exclusive movie screening of ASIA with Israeli Actress Shira Haas, best known for her roles in Unorthodox and Shtisel, and Director Ruthy Pribar. This award-winning movie, premiering this month at the Tribeca Film Festival, tells the story of a mother and daughter who must reevaluate
their relationship when an illness derails their lives.
This complimentary event is open to all Root Society donors
who have contributed $1,000+ to the 2021 campaign.

Shira Haas
Israeli Actress
Shira Haas is a multi-award-winning actress who has been called “The Face of Israeli Film.” She has previously been nominated for a Golden Globe and Emmy Award for her starring role in the Netflix series, Unorthodox. Haas is also well known for her role as Ruchami on the international hit show Shtisel.

Ruthy Pribar
Director
Awarded "Promising Director" from The Sam Spiegel Film School, Ruthy Pribar’s short films, Last Calls and The Caregiver, garnered numerous awards and have been screened at many international film festivals. Ruthy is an alumna of the Cannes Festival Residency Program and is currently developing her second feature film.
