Dear Educators,
We write to you from our home to yours. Given the current COVID-19 situation, we realize how important it is for you to have access to digital content during this time of social distancing. That is why Jewish National Fund has been working tirelessly to create engaging and meaningful virtual experiences for you and your students, so you can stay on top of your curriculum. This week, we began featuring Israel Education Online, live Education Zoom calls led by educators from Alexander Muss High School in Israel, that air Monday through Thursday at 1pm ET.
This educational video series is just one part of JNF On Demand—a virtual experience providing you with webinars, programs, and online get-togethers, that you can take part in from the comfort of your own home! Check out the schedule here, and be sure to tune in daily.
We would love to hear from you about your goals, how we can help, and what you’d like to receive from this newsletter. Please take less than five minutes to fill out this survey so we can better serve you.
We are here for you! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or needs you may have by emailing [email protected] or giving us a call at 212.879.9305 x245.
The Jewish Festival of Passover begins next week and reminds us of our journey from slavery to freedom. This year, when we ask, “Why is this night different from all other nights?” we all have new answers. While our celebrations will certainly be different this year, we hope that they will be meaningful and special!
Stay healthy and safe,
The JNF Education Team

In the spirit of supreme optimism, we’re still planning that we will be able to travel to Israel this summer! Applications are open for the JNF-USA Summer Educators Mission to Israel to attend the KKL World Education Conference July 13-19th. Connect with educators around the world while learning about Eco-Zionism and the connection between Judaism, Israel, and the environment.
Other trip highlights include:
· Touring JNF sites, heritage sites, and historical sites of the Jewish people
· Attending workshops, lectures, and discussions on the current challenges in Israel education
· Gaining exposure to JNF’s educational activities and materials
· Networking with 200+ educators from around the world
The mission is open to eligible educators from Jewish day schools, supplemental religious schools, Jewish camps, youth groups, and other Jewish school settings. Preference will be given to those educators who work with middle and high school students.
The cost is $200 per educator, with airfare not included. All other land costs are covered.
